My Return to Würzburg

Würzburg

Rothenburg

I returned here in August 27, 1999 and stayed for a week, during which I found that virtually nothing had changed. Würzburg is a moderate sized city on the Main river in northern Bavaria between Frankfurt and Nürnburg. I also went on a day-trip down to Rothenburg, a beautiful medieval, walled city just an hour south. While in Würzburg, I went all over the place, revisiting old haunts like Versbach, across the Main River, and Leighton Barracks.
